NUR6300 Master's Project or Thesis Research - Spring 2017- Gries

Electronically collecting and organizing sources for a master's project or thesis can be done in various ways.  The preferred way to save sources and citations is a personal choice.  Some options are listed below.

  • Folder feature from library database providers like EBSCO and ProQuest
    • Session folder
    • Personal account folder(s)
  • Personal email account folder(s)
  • Personal devices (flash drives, personal computer / laptop hard drives)

A combination of ways is an option. For example EBSCO or ProQuest session folders can be used in combination with folders made in personal email account or on personal devices.

For students who determine that a personal account iin EBSCO and/or ProQuest is their choice, see instructions below.

WebEx Meeting with the LIbrarian

  • Review the guide prior to the class Webex meeting with the librarian.
  • Practice using a session folder in EBSCO or ProQuest database(s) of your choice. NOTE:  The session folders do NOT require a personal account in EBSCO.
