Getting an Aurora Public Library Card

To obtain an Aurora Public Library card you must:

  1. Be a resident of the City of Aurora
  2. Provide photo ID with current incorporated City of Aurora address
  3. Provide proof of residency within the incorporated City of Aurora
    • If you are living on-campus and your driver's license has your home address, you might be able to use your valid Aurora University ID combined with your Voter Registration card (as long as it has the University as your address) as your photo ID and proof of residency.

If you are not a resident of the incorporated City of Aurora you may use your valid public library card from your home library to check out materials. Telephone verification that your home library card is in good standing will be made.
