The research paper key assessment will require students to select an ethnic group different than their own and write an 8 to 15-page report (in APA format) of their findings and interpretations of the group’s culture, educational experiences, representation in special education programs, and experiences as English learners (or with acquiring/learning the English language).
A peer-reviewed journal contains research articles that have been reviewed and approved for publication in the journal. "Peers" (selected by the journal publisher) are other respected scholars/researchers in the same field review and recommend the research article.
