Tutoring

George Williams College is a Learning Community, and as such support is abundant from your professors, staff members, and your peers. If you need extra help with difficult subject or you want to prepare for an upcoming quiz or exam, consider seeking assistance from The Learning Commons.  

 You can contact The Learning Commons to request an appointment with the professional writing instructors or peer tutors for any writing assignment you have been assigned. 

In addition to professional writing instructors, The Learning Commons staff can assist students in talking with their professors and identifying resources and extra help with a variety subjects or courses. Students may also seek the advice of their academic advisor, Travis Ramage, Director of Academic Services.

Monday-Friday  8 a.m.-10 p.m.
Saturday  8 a.m.-2 p.m.

Writing Assistance:

Monday 9-noon.; 1:30-5 p.m.
Tuesday 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Wednesday  10-noon; 3:30-5 p.m.
Thursday     9-noon.; 1:30-5 p.m.
Friday    9-10 a.m.; 1:30-5 p.m
