The Learning Commons

The Learning Commons provides students access to comprehensive support services as well as computers and space for small group and independent learning.The Learning Commons staff is on duty 30 hours a week to assist GWC students with educational support in the areas of library resources, writing assistance, and tutorial services.

Please check out our Staff page and see what tutor might best serve your academic needs.

Academic Resources

Our staff is here 30 hours a week in order to help you with your library, research, and tutoring needs. Trained Library Commons Assistants can help you check out books, find research materials, study for an exam, or write that paper you've been putting off. If you are interested in seeking out some assistance, please email us at gwccommons@gwc.aurora.edu or simply visit us during our posted hours.

For those interested in our writing services or tutoring resources, please include the following information in your email: the course or project that you need assistance with, your professor, the times that you have available, and any tutor or research assistant preference.  If you include this information within your initial email, it will allow for the best possible service.
