Tips for Success

Use the above links to find potential bills, then conduct a Google search to see if anyone is talking about these bills. Can you easily find newspaper articles, magazine articles, or support/opposition from non-profit organizations? If not, consider selecting another bill.

Tips for Success

Play with your keywords. In a Google search, try using the title of the bill. For example, "Protecting Domestic Violence and Stalking Victims Act of 2017 site:.org". In the Library Databases, consider the issues the bill addresses. For example, "Domestic Violence" AND "Stalking".
