In order to use library services, you will need to obtain an Alumni Card. As an alumnus of Aurora University, you may check out books from Phillips Library. To use the library computers and databases, you will need a guest login which can be provided from the circulation desk. Alumni are not able to check out media or use inter-library loan services.
All services and resources provided by the Phillips Library on the library website and in the library building on the Aurora campus are available to the Woodstock Center and AU Online students.
Use the green "Ask Us" button on the right side of the page to chat with a librarian, or navigate to the Help page to fill out our question form for an emailed response.
Phillips Library Code of Conduct covers both the libraries physical space as well as library resources. The AU libraries rely on the cooperation of all patrons to maintain an optimal space for scholarly activity. Library resources – print, media, and computer – are for the use of Aurora University students, faculty, and staff.
Phillips Library will only add donated books to its collection that support the academic curriculum, as determined by the librarians. Books not supporting our curriculum will be donated to Better World Books. For more information, see our full policy below.
Phillips Library maintains, updates, and removes physical and digital items to support the mission of Aurora University. Faculty may request for items to be added to our collection at the library's discretion.
