Saturday Study Essentials Hours

New Saturday Hours Information

From 8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m., the library will open for Study Essentials Hours beginning on August 30, 2025. During this time, the library will have limited services and the following items will only be available for checkout: 

  • Whiteboard Markers
  • School Supplies
  • Anatomy Key
  • Anatomy Models
  • Loanable Technology 

Normal library services will resume after 11:00 a.m.


Examples of library services not available during Study Essentials hours:
  • Getting help finding or accessing library materials
  • Checking out interlibrary loan and course reserve books and DVDs
  • Resolving issues with a library account
  • Consultation about source quality

Study Hall Hours

During this time, there will not be library services like research help, checking out materials, and accessing the computer lab. (However, the computers and printer in the library lobby will be available.) The second floor will be closed. A bathroom will be made available upon request at the front desk. 

Please check out any materials you may need before library services end at 9 p.m. Items that have short loan policies, should be returned before leaving. Refer to our technology page for more information.

Study Hall is a great time to study alone or with friends, in the safe and comfortable space of the library.
