Printers and Printing

First time printing at AU?

After swiping your card through the black card reader on the side of the printer, it will ask you to enter your OKTA credentials.

Don't worry, this will only happen once. You can use your card at any time to print your documents.

Printing from your personal device

1. Open your AU Outlook email account and click New Mail to create a new message.

2. Send an email to UNIFLOW@aurora.edu and attach the file you wish to print.

DO NOT attach files using the Outlook, Link Share, Suggested Files, or Insert Inline options. The file MUST be a separate attachment to print.

Please Note: When sending files in sizes other than 8.5 x 11 (standard letter), your files may not be formatted correctly to print. You will not be able to change the size at the printer. We suggest making sure that the file you are sending is in the correct size. If not, you will run the risk of your document cutting off.

3. After sending the email, wait a moment, then scan your AU ID card in the black card reader on the side of the printer. Choose Secure Print > Print All.

Printing from a library computer

1. Open the document that you would like to print in either a web browser or desktop application.

2. Select Print and send the document to the printer labeled SecurePrintCanon on 172.16.0.50. If you do not see this as an option, select See More.

3.  You can now print your document from any public printer on campus. Swipe your ID or enter your student credentials to login to the printer.

4. Click on Secure Print to view all of your print requests.
