MetaAuthentication/Single Sign-On

If you receive a MetaAuthentication / Single Sign-On error when attempting to request articles online through Tipasa, follow these steps:

  1. Keep open the window with the article citation (usually a page from SFX or EBSCOhost).
  2. Log into your Tipasa account (the link is also available on the library homepage). If you're not already logged into AU services, you'll be prompted with the Okta screen.
  3. Click on the green Create Request button near the top of the Tipasa account page.
  4. Fill out the starred fields of the form (Journal Title, Date, Article Title, Author, and Page Numbers) using the information in the article citation. Try to copy and paste, where possible.
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the form and select the green Submit Request button. You'll receive an email confirmation.

OCLC System Error

If you receive an OCLC system error when trying to log into your Tipasa account, follow these steps:

  1. Clear your browser's history, including cache and cookies. (Instructions are available in your browser's help pages.)
  2. Return to your Tipasa account; you should be prompted to log in using the AU Okta sign-in page.
  3. If the error persists, try a different browser.
