Mental Measurements Yearbook and Tests in Print

Tests in Print

Tests in Print (TIP) provides descriptive listings of commercially published tests. These descriptions are brief, usually no more than a quarter page in length. To access the full text of a test, you will need to contact the publisher.

Phillips Library owns the 9 volumes of TIP currently in print. They are available in our Reference Collection on the 1st floor of Phillips Library.

Helpful Tips

Use the Score Index to browse all the scores for all the tests included in that volume of TIP. Sometimes the scores provide better leads to what the test actually measures than the test title or other available information.

If it is inconvenient to visit Phillips Library in person, AU students, faculty and staff can request a digital copy of entries in TIP.

Please remember that these entries provide a brief description of the test, not full access. An entry will typically include the Test Title, Purpose, Population, Publication Date, Scores, Price Data, Comments, Authors, and Publisher.

  • Step 1 - Determine which test entry interests you. TIP offers an online index. Use this index to determine which test fits your needs.
  • Step 2 - Email your request to docdel@aurora.edu. Please include the test's full title.
