What can Phillips Library liaisons do?

  • Provide high quality information literacy instruction (how to locate, access and use information) to students via a classroom session
  • Provide one-on-one research help or database searching strategies to students by appointment
  • Create assignment specific guides for research assignments that can be embedded directly into Moodle
  • Take requests for additions to Phillips Library collections
  • Provide feedback on curriculum change forms required by faculty senate
  • Compile lists of resources Phillips Library already owns that are useful for courses
  • Provide research assistance for faculty research projects or articles
