February 21 or February 29 - OER Faculty Workshop
Supporting Academic Success: Open Educational Resources and Equitable Course Materials
The virtual workshop hosted by the Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Illinois will identify:
- what are open educational resources (OER);
- benefits and motivations for using OER;
- how to find and evaluate OER;
- how to integrate OER into your class.
After attending, CARLI-member teaching faculty will be invited to write a short review of an open textbook in the Open Textbook Library.
This year's free virtual conference is focused on student-focused innovation. There will be a keynote address from Dr. Virginia Clinton-Lisell.
The Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries (CARLI) offers OER-related training throughout the year. Visit the CARLI website for OER Continuing Education.
