Cite Your Sources

Citations play an important role in the scholarly communication process of research and academic writing. You are required to cite your sources in academic writing. There are several different types of citation styles with the most common being APA, MLA and Chicago Style.

Academic Support Center

The ASC offers consultations with writing specialists to registered AU students, at all levels and locations. Through one-on-one, in-person or online appointments, writing specialists are available to guide students through the entire writing process (brainstorming, research, drafting, editing, proofreading, revision, and documentation.) The APA guide provides APA examples and the APA writing template.
