Academic Support Center FAQ

Research with a Librarian

In addition to the Academic Support Center's services (including Writing Specialist Tutors, Academic Coaches, Content Specialist Tutors, and Peer Tutors), students can make an appointment to meet with a librarian. Librarians can help with finding sources for an assignment, searching for quality information on the web and in library databases, and navigating the entire research process.

Students can make a "Research with a Librarian" appointment on Academic SupportNet by selecting "Research with a Librarian" from the dropdown list of calendars.

Additional information on scheduling an appointment with a librarian and "Research with a Librarian" policies can be found here.
